Yeah, I just chose the hide headgear option.  I'd recommend doing it for the mage, it looks much better.

When exacatly do you get the Gauntlets?  I've already started the third act but they haven't appeared in my inventory.

These come from Huon in "On the Lose".

I got the boots from the dragon, I do not think OP is correct.

Have a problem with the High Dragon... The bastard wont come down from its high ground, and i cant hit it while its up there.

If the high dragon is just sitting on the high ground switch to a mage they should be able to hit it with a normal attack

Anyone else unable to loot Huon? The body sparkles but I am unable to loot(by either right click/tabbing or pressing R.

The dragon only stays up top for a while then comes back down....at least he did for me anyways.

Never mind. I figured out why. You might want to add that Hawke has to kill the Arishok to get the "King of the Hill" achievement and the gloves.

If you want the weapons from the beginning of the game unequip your weapon that you have The weapons from the beginning well appear in you hand lol.

It varies, depends on which class you chose. Details in the third post.


EDIT: But I guess if you're a warrior that doesn't want to invest in Con... yeah, that is a problem.

Make sure you killed all the little dragons. I had the same issue and found one still being at the end of the map somewhere. Very awkward.

I also found out that when he stays up there, pressing h (for hold) and again will make it come down (ofcourse after all the lil dragons are dead)

Thanks for the info...I just defeated the High Dragon but got zilch. Is it supposed to be looted from the dragon's body or what?

I didn't get the dang gauntlets at the beginning of Act 3

Apparently the conditions are, you have to defeat the Arishok (either in duel or him + his men) in order to get it gauntlets and also the achievement, King of the Hill.

I was meant to get my Rogue armor in Act3 and i never got it because my inventory was full T___T I always tried to keep all the crap out of my inventory and somehow it kept reaching 50/50 again oh well. No champion armor for me? xD

The dragon is the most difficult of the quests to get this by far. I did alright at level 17 with 2h warrior hawke, Isabella for backstabbery, and Varick for ranged dps/rips the crap out of the massed dragonlings, and Anders, for healing/spell whoopass. Anders requires a lot of micro, since you need to switch him between his damage mode and healing mode, which lets you revive/mass heal but prevents you from casting all offensive spells. It's a long fight regardless, so make sure you've got sufficient potions/draughts/lyrium potions. I also brought a long a bunch of potions of restoration, which streamlined the whole process a bit.

I would say replace Isabella with Merril because she is also ranged so Hawke will be the only person in range of its attacks, only time you need to worry about healing the others is when the little dragon minions come out. As for Anders, he cans till use his regular attack, spirit shot, the hexes and glyphs and I believe Crushing Prison when in healing mode.
