Is anyone else getting a lot of freezes during conversations? I'm only less than an hour or so into the game and so far the game's frozen on me 3 separate times. All of them happened during conversations.

If you have a number of saves from Dragon Age: Origins on your PS3, the menu at the customization screen might take quite some time to load. It may appear to be frozen, but the game is reading through the save files. We are aware of the issue and are looking into it.

If those affected can provide some information about your systems, we can hopefully attempt to gauge the types of users being affected and track some of these issues down:
What Model of PS3 are you playing on?
Original Models (20gb, 60gb)
2nd generation (40gb, 80gb, 160gb)
PS3 Slim
Which firmware version are you running? Are you running the latest official Sony firmware?
Are you logged into PSN or logged out of PSN?
Are you logged into the EA servers or logged out of the EA servers?
Which copy of Dragon Age 2 are you running? (Regular edition, Signature Edition)
Playtime before the crash. A rough estimate should work.

Alright, to those affected, are you playing with an import save from Dragon Age: Origins? If so, how many Origins saves are there on your system? We're trying to get an estimate of how many DAO saves people affected might have on their system.

We need the total number of characters on your system, and the total number of saves each character has.

Is the freezing during Enemies Among Us happening before the conversation Tarhone, during, or after the combat when you attempt to interact with the Templar stranded in the air?

We're currently looking closely at this issue and trying to narrow it down. If those affected by the crashing during the "Enemies Among Us" plot to send me a PM with the following information. I will be passing the information to the team trying to handle this right now.
Required Information (Please Copy and Paste this into the PM. Delete anything in the message that is not in Bold)
PS3 Model:
Party Composition at time of Crash:
Hawke Gender/class:
Does your Hawke use a customized appearance?
Firmware version:
Playtime before crash:
Import Saves: If you are using an imported save where is the save from? (End of Origins? End of Awakening? Midway? Witch Hunt? ect.) How many DAO saves do you have on your system?
PSN/EA Account: Are you logged in?
Game Version: Regular or Signature Edition?
Again, this is for people experiencing crashing during this plot, as it has been the most common posted occurance of freezing.
If you wish to send me this information related to a different plot, please add in:
Plot: What plot were you doing?
Action: Where were you in the plot and what were you doing before the crash?
Thanks

We appreciate the feedback you all have provided us in regards to the crashing. As of right now, I don't have anything new to announce other than it is something that we are looking into. I have been informed that we have gathered enough information over the course of the day that has helped the team attempt to narrow down the cause of these crashes. So again thank you to all you sent in PM's and helped out with this.

It should be noted that these problems involving the game freezing or crashing is only affecting a small portion of the total user base, and that we are working diligently on narrowing this down so that every user affected can enjoy the same experience as those who are not. I understand that its frustrating when something does not work right and it seems like no one is listening, but we are listening to what you're saying.
All of the feedback you all have sent in to not only myself, but what has been mentioned in this thread has been extremely helpful in trying to figure out what is going wrong. The process in getting a fix out does take time and we appreciate your patience in the matter.
Thanks

It is probably too late for many people, but if people can list what their inventory is that is causing issues in places where stripping it all off is a workaround, that would be very helpful in trying to narrow down whether or not it's specific pieces of equipment causing problems, or some other systemic issue.
