3 When the ogre was supposed to come before you make your character.

Remember that Dragon age origins froze alot also,It's not your PS3 guy's its just A random bug in the game that hits at certain times without notice these things happen. I'm 12 hours in the game and I had just 1 freeze and thats during the Side quest shepherding Wolves.that's not to bad really But still needs to be looked into since freezes are Bad.

It continually has frozen since the first heavy play period, 13 hr stretch. I've experienced freezes in every element excluding walking around, transitioning from area to area, and while in combat. Most freezes seem to be during conversations. When discussing the poison gas issue with the Arishok the conversation repeated. Talking with Emeric about the murders is where I started having issues. Turning in Fool's Gold has been the biggest bug so far until repelling the qunari, and attempting to distribute att and abilities.

7 At third fireball, if I killed six more guys, it'd have frozen when the ogre was supposed to come.

8 Rite after my first cutcene weir I choose to personally blow up the darkspawn. Well, that's all for today, look forward to future posts when I regain my willingness to put up with DA2.

I had no problems with this untill I installed the exiled prince.

Only had 1 freeze so far - in the area at the start just before the ogre.....the place where you loot the chest before going up the slope.

Frozen at least 10 times, sometimes on converstations, other times in cutscenes.

I didn't actually freeze on the "Enemies Among Us' quest

It froze 3 times in the part where you confront Arishock twice in cutscenes, once in the actual battle.

My game freezes duringthe quest Enemies Among us at the cutscene within the sanctuary in which you see a person in grey pants floating in mid-air. within one second of the cutscene my ps3 freezes & i have to turn off my console by pressing the button on the ps3, i have tried 5-6 times & even tried skipping the cutscene as soon as it comes up but its always the same result. i'm also encountering minor freezes that last for a second when i go from one are to another, within a fight & during conversations.

i'm running a 40gb model
latest firmware
logged into psn & ea
standard edition of dragon age
played for nearly 8 hours.

I'm wondering, does loading a file from Awakenings have anything to do with it? My first run through i loaded a file from Origins because Awakenings was deemed "incomplete." My second run through, I did an Awakenings file and that's when the freezing started.

However, like myself it seems many people freeze during the "Enemies Among Us" quest.

i keep hanging during the loading screen after you select new character, i've deleted all my old DA files... i'm running the 80gb 2nd gen MGS ps3... logged in or out of both EA and PSN

My Dragon Age 2 freezes every half hour or so... I bought it brand new and I have full space on my ps3. Anyone experiencing the same problem?

Game froze again.
I just turned it on and decided to check on Japan news, left it running for twenty minutes came back and it was froze

I'm so disappointed with this issue. I experienced 4 freezes in 2 days. The last 3 froze was same as above comments in the conversation of "Enemies Among Us" Happened once just before the fight and one after the fight (for Karen). The last one was after rescue Karen, visit Gallow and it freeze when the conversation started to talk about demon and recruits. I fed up and google this topic.

I'm running the latest firmware
PS3 Slim
Play time:
1st freeze : about 4 hours
2nd freeze: about 3 hours
3rd freeze: 3 mins
4th freeze: 1 min

I return to these forums to post about my most recent freeze moments after my last freeze. This time we stall in the middle of a riveting cinematic where I experience a slow and painful death, sadly much like this game... It saddens me that we live in times where we are privy to the Greatness in life like Charlie Sheen and yet we are still exposed to disasters like earthquakes and bioware games. Vatican Assassin Out!
