Woho it has only be freezing for me at " Enemies among us" for like 6 times. I did all the other quests and gave that dwarf his 50 gold and now it worked to complete that annoying quest! Try get the 50 gold money to the dwarf and then do the quest.

I dont know if it might help some of you guys but i cut off the auto save from options and it helped on freezes. I didn't freeze so far and i usually do after an hour or so of gameplay, just remember to save often i guess.

I return once again to a new familiar friend...the forums. I have lost track of the number of freezes thus far but at this rate this game will break a record in game time while lacking content. I have so far found Biowares latest release to be nothing more than a cheap knock-off of a decent game. Historically a sequel is an improvement on a sound product with added feature, new content, and updated graphic. This game lacks all of these qualities but does come with the added feature of frequent freezes to accomodate bathroom breaks and Code Red Mt. Dew refills. I will say that the developers may want to visit a doctor as they are either suffering from some urianry tract issues or a dehydration problem because I cannot seem to keep up with the freezes. As a doctor in my own mind I would suggest some Tigers Blood as it worked for Sheen...

Hello freeze fans, in an attempt to use the forums for help I tried the auto save suggestion and was hopefully optomistic for the entire three minutes of gameplay that followed but alas I find myself again frozen mid cinematic. I am pretty sure that a man resembling opie with a goatee was about reveal to me that yes in fact gingers do have no soul but I will now  never know for sure. So autosave suggestion while a good attempt was still a let down much like party inventory in this game. So with that said my PS3 has restarted my bladder is empty and I have a fresh code red I am good for the next 3 minutes see you all soon Warlock Out!

It is not the 3.60 update, I and many others had plenty of freezes with the 3.56. In fact I have had _less_ freezes since the 3.60 came out. I still get plenty of them, keeping me less than an hour into the game, but it is not the firmware that is causing the issue. Or if it is, it was a problem that existed pre 3.60

Opie is really starting to get on my nerves. Once again I reached him after replaying content due to my removal of the autsave feature in an attempt to prevent freezing only to have him pause mid sentence once again. I had hoped that this was for dramatic effect but after several minutes realized it was yet another freeze. I have watched the load screens now so many times I cannot count but have stumbled across either a piece of irony or a subliminal messages from the developers in that on the load screen it depicts two men with head in hands in dismay obviously at the state of this game. I too find myself wanting to put head in hands but in the words of Charlie Sheen I am a winner I am gonna keep winning. So I have emptied the bladder yet again( suffering some pain from effort...) have another Code Red in hand( might be becoming diabetic...) PS3 has restarted see you all in less than 15. Load Screen For The Win!!!

Hmmm seems like the quest (enemies among us) is causing alot of crashes in the game...Sounds like a Freeze bug has appeared on the game....Go figure...

UPDATE:Just finished the (Enemies among us) quest and had no problems.

The only freezing that occurred 2 times in a row for me is in rescuing the viscounts son in Wounded Coast... After defeating the mercs there and preparing for the onslaught, it freezes right there both initial times. Other than that, I only had a few freezes that were random and luckily auto-save recovered me from a LONG start.

I have a Second Gen PS3 120Gb and i have not even been able to make it past Flemeth's intro it keeps freezing during her speech

Well, just had my first freeze right now in the mission where yo fight the thugs to find the "cheating wife" lol. Anyway, my ps3 just frozen totally, even when i took the disc. I had to shut down my PS3. Please bring a patch soon guys =(

I was able to pass Enemies Among Us by turning my PS3's internet connection off. I turned it back on after the quest was complete and I had left the area.

It still needs a patch though. I'm scared to even continue playing at the moment with the amount of freezing complaints there are.

I just started the game, and played about an hour when it froze. I was simply walking towards a chest when the freeze occurred. I was not in battle or having a conversation--just walking. The music is still playing but the screen is frozen and nothing on the controller works.

Here are my stats:

- Brand New PS3 "Slim" 320 GB

- Firmware 3.60

- Logged into PSN.

- Logged into EA servers.

- Dragon Age 2 Regular Edition.

- Freezes about an hour into the game.

Yet again I seem to have made the game upset by trying to play it. Not going to lie it is getting very tiresome.
But thank god I have Adonis genes and tigers blood. I am glad that they posted that it is only a small percent of customers that have this problem because the forums would be on page 50 by now instead of 12. I could understand pc's haveing this kind of truoble but not a console. I wonder if they would be upset if I pirated it in stead. I payed for it once and I would like to play it.

The freezes are random. In my case, i`ve played all of the stages where the people say it´s freezing, but no freeze for me. Had played about 6 hours when i had my first freeze. So, i´m thinking, it´s not that only a few have this problem, it´s just that many people haven´t suffered yet, or not posting here.

I've had numerous, random freezing throughout the game the past few days, but the 8 hours before that I had no problems. Most of the time it is during conversations, and I can reset the PS3 and repeat the section with no problem.

Not any longer. I am literally trapped in a spot now.

In the Harimann Estate for Sebastian's quest "Repentance": whenever I head to the cellar and confront the 3 Harimann's, they all collapse to the ground and the game freezes before (I assume) combat begins. It freezes every single time. I've done this 6 times now. And I also cannot exit the estate so I am basically stuck until a patch or blind luck comes first.

I have turned off auto-save, logging in to the EA servers, everything.

I just got the game and am having the same problems. I've already had the game freeze twice and I've been playing for less than an hour. I had this same problem with DAO, which eventually caused me to stop playing the game. You'd think they would have fixed the problem for this installment. I don't care how many people are having this problem. It's enough that it's completely unacceptable considering that it was a known issue in the first game.

- I'm using a "fat" PS3, 120GB.
- I am not connected to any servers and am playing offline.
- I'm playing the Signature edition.
- I have the latest Firmware from Sony.

I just had the same problem with my ps3 version aswell one time when i was battle with my rouge Faux-Hawke for the ambush and the other when finishing a talk with aveline when i was Tomo-hawke and i dunno what will happen with Moe-Hawke the mage (lol ya all my character have puns)

I can't get 15 minutes into the game without it freezing. It's almost unplayable. I'm currently stuck because it keeps freezing at the loading screen after the introductory sequence to Act 3. It's unfortunate because I was looking forward to this game...

 Froze after arriving in Kirkwall and engaging in conversation with the smuggler. Restarted PS3, was able to continue past that point in the conversation.... for 15 more seconds.

Disappointing. I so loved Origins... and so looked foward to this game.
