Dog > Cat

Dogs are loyal and lovable. Cats are selfish and stuck up.

Also,

Dogs are loyal because they're stupid.
I admire a cat's selfishness and ability to manipulate others for their evil ends.

Mind you when it comes down to it, a cat will stick by you.

I feel dumb for asking this, but...

Does anyone else see Isabela's boobs jiggle when she runs?

No, DA2 lacks the boob-jiggling physics. It's 2011 for Pete's sake; someoen needs to get on this stat

You might want to ask the Oblivion modders who have spent the past 5 years perfecting this.

I won't deny that dogs are stupid, but at least I don't have to fear being shivved in the night by an evil manipulative kitten.

No doubt, if a six year-old game can have jiggling boobs then by golly DA2 can have them!

And tentacle-molesting-school girls.

Oh, and we're dangerously on topic now.

That's funny, it took only months for New Vegas ^_^

(It's cheated though, not real physics. It just adds bones to the female skeleton and animates for them while walking, running, etc. But it works!).

Why yes, Oblivion has mods for both school uniforms and tentacles

New Vegas uses a modified version of Oblivion's engine. Someone probably ported the skeletons over.

I seriously think they're moving when she runs. It's a linear aniamtion, but still.

Exact same engine, near everything for Oblivion can be imported for Fallout after some tweaks. :wizard:

Much as I love The Elder Scrolls games, at what point do you have the social interaction such that this would even be noticed, much less relevant?

Mind you, I only play the recent TES games in 1st-Person PoV, so I will never understand what I fear might be an obvious reason. :?

Hmm, if you have a companion mod you can watch them run around. And around. And around.

That one was made from scratch, i think. Regardless, you are right, it is pretty much the same engine. Skyrim will thankfully have a new one.

Right after I posted the question I'd remembered some of the (apparently well-designed) companion mods I'd seen (albeit avoided) whilst scouring for the various unofficial patches and such for my last Oblivion installation.

Gotcha.

I wasn't aware of any companions in Oblivion. o.0
Are you sure we are talking about the same game?

Mods are your friends. With Mods, Morrowind got even greater, and with shivering Isles and enough mods, oblivion got quite bearable :P
