She lives an hour away... We normally only got to wsee eachother once every 3-5 weeks as it is... But now... It's already been more than 5 weeks, and her mom never wants her to see me again.... I always knew her mother hated me, but I never realized she hated me THIS much.....

An hour of city-suburb or an hour of empty street?

Without knowing much about the situation, it's hard to give sensible advice, but I'd assume calling her mum out on it isn't an option?

My time in the states consists entirely of a summer holiday on longboat key. I'm sure google maps will be happy to help though :o

Well, I live about an hour south of there, and she lives about 14 miles east of the city. It's just over an hour drive if you follow the speed limits.
But yeah, her mom said "her instincts say her daughter doesn't need to be around me"....  All I have to say about that is she's a ****ing hypocrit... So much for the christian "Judge not, lest ye be judged"... She knows next to nothing about me

Well this topic continues to.. spiral.
Whether that's good or bad is yet to be decided. :wizard:

You know, the problem with that is that many hardcore Christians consider themselves perfect and above judgement, hence they can judge whoever they like because after all, they're doing everything right.
Which, yes, is hubris but hey, details. Sadly, intolerant/ignorant parents won't go away, you have to keep at it and hope your relationship survives it.

I suppose the US isn't as big on busses as sweden is :o
Thing is, I appreciate this might not be helpful, not knowing anything about your situation and all, but if was into someone to the point where I keep their cloth for the smell, and someone tried to get in the way of that - I'd check that my partner feels about me the way I feel about them, and just confront the person that's getting in the way "this is how I feel, this is how your daughter feels, you want to get in the way of that?". Lay the cards on the table. It's easy for me to say, given I can yell at my parents for two hours and still have their support, but as hard as it is, it's imho the best way. At the least, it's going to make her feel massively uncomfortable, and seriously shake any decision merely born from spite or lack of thought.

Welp, looks like I'm at the point where I'll have to decline info. Posted Image You will find I do not mind if a wild imagination puts me at the horrors of a broodmother, disregarding their endowment. As such, I won't part with any details.

Well, we're not givign up. And I went form being depressed to being very pissed once I heard WHY... It's a GOOD thing I won't be seeing her for a while. If I saw her mother right now,  Icouldn't guarentee her safety...

Hahaha, I know that SOUNDS liek a great idea, but if her parents had ANY idea how we felt about eachother, we'd NEVER see eachother again. Her dad doesn't mind me so much, but her mom HATES me

No worries involved. For this amusing reply, however, I had to reply in some manner. Other than the obligatory perv accusation. That'd be ridiculously hypocritical of me.

Well then don't be surprise if I fantasize about them, I have an overactive imagination.

Maybe I'll dedicate a couple of chapters of the Wulfasutra entirely to the exquisite female mamary gland.

Thing is, telling someone "you don't go see that person again" is a whole lot easier, then telling such to someones face. Directly confronting someone means they have a much harder time hiding behind judgement or weaker convictions. Chances are, people are more likely to go along with it to avoid the discomfort of the situation, then to stand up for their convictions. So unless she has deep grounded reason to hate you, you don't have much of a chance changing anything, unless you confront her, do you?

Confrunting her will weild nothing. She'd likely call the cops if I set foot on her property.
*Screams into the air* UGH!!!! All I want to do right now is smack her head against a concrete wall repeatedly.....

Well, there are poets that pull at heart strings and there are others who shake one's very soul. (I like the pino girgio reference. ;-) )

Concerns about red giants and the (potential) lack of thermodymamic free energy to sustain life are... not common around these parts.

You've piqued my curiosity.
