You have to simultaneously be signed in to this site and your game at the same time, with the same account. Then your character portraits will be magicked into the available avatars to choose from, under their specific game headings.

Damn you I was about to post that. It's odd that it shouldn't update for you though. DA:O quit updating for me a couple of months after I got it, but DA2 is updating just fine for me and that's what I'm using right now.
