Anders: If a man is said to be "hung" he's drunk, I think.
Varric: Actually, they *did* hang people here. By their feet. Until they starved.
Fenris: *chuckle* It's a good thing they were drunk, then.

I just saw this on my second playthrough & died laughing! In Act three where you need to find a certain ex Antivan assassin, I went to talk to Terath first instead of the girl that is helping hide Zevran & converstaion went like this..
Terath: You do not belong here, Shemlen.
FemaleHawke: (sarcastic response) What about my -- Dear Maker! Where did my self-righteousness and pointy ears go?
Terath: Why, you... You.. Shemlen!!
haha the way they both said there lines was priceless! Whoever found FemaleHawkes voice actor deserves praiseShe does such a great job the entire game!
This one is even better if you bring Fenris and Merrill along, in the way it goes.KyleTheArtist wrote...
^Same quest. After Isabella walks of to sex Zevran.
Sebastian: Why do i get the feeling it is not a good idea to leave those two alone?
Fenris: Are we sure he's from an assassins guild?
*both shake heads*
Hawke: I'm not sure I can pull this off...
Isabella: Come on! Didn't you ever wanna slap me?
Fenris: Yes.
Sebastian: Is that a trick question?
Isabella: I did not ask you two!

When you go to the hanged man to confront the escaped mage Emile; he begin going on about how he's never been with a woman. He mutters something about pleasing fem-Hawke, to which a romanced Merill replies something like:
"You'd never be able to do that, your tongue isn't nearly rough enough."
I wish I remembered it better, because I am constantly shocked that it is not mentioned repeatedly on these lists.
Oh my. Merrill, Merrill, you dirty girl. Well, it's not on youtube, I spose this entails a femhawke in my future
To whoever mentioned the barkeep saying pigeons were dissapearing through Ferelden-- Watch this vid, go to 14:14, the veeery last page in the book Varric is reading to the Seeker is turned for a split second between 14:14 and 14:15. It's a picture of a chicken running from Shale, who's walking away from another dead chicken.
Love it.

I didn't read through the whole thread, so it might have been said, but I liked Varric's comment about fHawke:
"You're beautiful, deadly, and hang out with fantastic dwarves."
In-general, I'm pretty much in love with Varric now. His interactions with nice-but-sarcastic-Hawke (ie mainly purple responses with some blue) are just great. Of all the companion relationships in DA2, Hawke and Varric's friendship is the one I believe the most.

My word yes. Of all possible "why is this character not romanceable?" grief, I never thought mine would be directed towards the dwarf.
Speaking of chest hair, I liked Fenris' comment - something like.. "I thought dwarves had beards. Did yours migrate to your chest?"

I think it is of note, regarding Varric, that of all the combinations of companions I've tried on the Feynriel fade quest, Varric has never betrayed Hawke. He seems to be rock-solid and entirely at peace with who he is and what he does.

He will if he is the only companion that is slated to be tempted by the pride demon. E.g. Take Anders and either Isabela or Avaline with you, plus Varric.

Also, while I was trying to get this image from the video I saw a picture from the book that looked like Morrigan. The image of her comes right after the one of Shale, but it's a pain trying to get a good shot of it.

I might stop doing that quest. It's an "ignore what we've already established about the character for sake of the what the writer felt like doing" moment for too many of the companions.

My favourite so far - poorly paraphrased though.
Carver: (to Fenris) "I have a tattoo as well."
Fenris: (Says something I forget).
Carver: "It's a mabari war hound."
Fenris: "Does it ... (something something hand through chest)."
Carver: "No but I can make it bark."
Anders: "Please don't."
Hawke: (Sigh).
i prefered "did he shank your Jory?"silver-crescent wrote...
I loved that dialogue between Aveline and Isabella during act 3 about Donnic's qualities in bed.
The "pamper your paragon" etc one. Does anyone know the whole thing?
