My first two playthroughs I didn't think to try and make non rogues open locks.
Aveline: I wouldn't waste my time trying
Merrill: I hope your joking.
Merrill: Um no, definitely not, ever!

I also love to hear the differences between diplomatic/sarcastic/aggressive Hawke.
Sarcastic Hawke to Isabela: You drink the swill here?
Isabela: Its an acquired taste.
Aggressive Hawke on "girly fun": You think I'm girly?
while I think sarcastic Hawke assumes she's referring to shopping.

Because she gets the real thing pretty much whenever she wants, since she only has that line in her romance.
My personal favorite is rather banal-Sarcastic Hawk's warcry of 'Making the world a better place, one body at a time!" though agressive hawk's 'I love the smell of fresh blood' maks me smile. It's nice being able to have a character that sounds like he likes getting stuck in as much as I do.

No, Merrill says that to just a friend Hawke, too.

I love aggressive female Hawke. She sounds awesome in combat.

This is especially great when you don't rename your dog. So it would be the fear of Dog. lol
