I'm trying to find the actual conversation that Merrill has with Avaline (I think) that ends with Merrill saying "I'd rather keep it with Hawke".

I don't remember all the specifics, but Merrill basically asks if Aveline likes Hawke and if that's why she travels with him.  Merrill also thinks Hawke is dreamy.  Aveline then tells her that she should keep that to herself, thus prompting the above response.  It was cute .

Yeah, that's it. 

So far, no luck finding this on YouTube.

Not exact but close.
Isabel: Varric how does one become a Paragon.
Varic: A bunch of nobles get together and if you get enough votes you get to become a living god.
Isabel: So you could be a Paragon?
Varric: That isn't quite how it works.
Isabel: You could be the Paragon of Manliness
Varric: I like the way you think Rivani.

Isabel and Varric are my favorite companion interactions followed by Isabel teasing Bethany.

The line is "'Sister Nightingale' indeed. I remember it didn't take much to make you sing." Also in my playthrough Varric was with me and he said the "Is there anyone in Ferelden you haven't slept with?" line

I died laughing at that one. Leliana's cameo alone was worth $7. Especially since she at least mentions being in love with my Warden.

There is a lot of awesome party banter but earlier today I took Isabela with my group to meet the woman in the brothel all the Templars had been visiting and after I killed her Isabela said:
"Apostate. Prostitute. (pause) Apostitute." I simply couldn't help busting out laughing when she said that. Almost as funny as the conversation between Sebastian and Isabela about Isabela's reason for sticking around after I had Hawke sleep with her.

 I can't correctly remember who said it (I believe Varric, but it could've been a passerby), but I heard a reference that pigeons in Ferelden were disappearing at an alarming rate. 
I lol'd at the reference to Shale. 

Then there was the King Alistair "swooping" reference when you meet with him in Act III. 

And Zevran! 

And anything between Varric and... well, anyone else. He had me rolling in the game 'cause of his humor.
