I've been told she's in the Hanged Man, but she's not there. Do I have to pick her up after the deep roads or some other quest, or can I get her from the start? I've got Fernis and Aveline is captian in training, so I think I might have missed her ala Leliana in my first runthrough of Origins.
Where do you find Isabella?

I have the same question. I only have Varric, Aveline, and Carver. I haven't completed Aveline's task yet. I haven't even started the Deep Roads Expedition. Come to think of it, the only things I've done were side quest stuff.
As much as Isabella has been marketed by Bioware, you would have thought that she would jump right out at you. But it seems like finding Isabella is like trying to look for Jimmy Hoffa.

After you do Anders' quest, go to The Hanged Man.

Sure? Is this how you acquired Isabella?
I just want to make sure because on my first playthrough, I am romancing Isabella (plus I need her talents) and I do not want to miss out on her.
Again, as much as Isabella has been marketed in DA2 and yes, she was marketed more than any other Love Interest, you would have assumed that BIoware made it clear from the get go on where and how to find Isabella.

Isabela is actually an optional companion, you don't need to get her. You can miss her.

Ander's quest is the quest called Tranquility. It becomes available once you finish the A Business Discussion quest (basically talk to Varric in the Hanging Man).
