everytime i try and launch the game says that dragoneage2.exe is inconpatible with my 64 bit vista OS

It says you are running Service Pack 1. Try updating to Service Pack 2.
I have Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 and it works fine for me - other than game glitches and that this website does not keep me logged in for more than 2 minutes...pfft!
