Having issues with tool set and need some help please...
few things...
How
do you delete stuff your done with? like creatures, cut-scenes, items
etc? I tried making a new cut-scene and it said the name is already
taken...
how do you reopen a cut-scene you started but didn't finish?
How
do you import the head from your game? I made my character in game and
want to use this as a morph, since I'm having issues recreating him.
How do you do custom hair? I downloaded and am using a mod for more hair but can't get this option in toolset what do i do?
how do you make it so you can play your cut-scene? do I have to make it as a mod and put a trigger in?
How do you make custom movements like if I wanted to make them do martial arts etc?
I have these questions and more so if anyone is willing to email me I would SO SO APPRECIATE IT.
I'm trying to make machinima with the cut-scenes since I'm a VO.

Right click on the item in the palette window and 'Check in'. Once it has been checked in you can then right click on it and 'delete'
how do you reopen a cut-scene you started but didn't finish?
Find the name of the cutscene in the palette window and double left hand click on the name of the thing you want to reopen, (Or right hand click on it and 'open resource.) If you do not see your palette window go up top to 'view'....'other windows'...'palette'
I find it useful to have both the palette window and the object inspector open at all times.

That is a bit more tricky, I am pretty sure there is a way to do that, hopefully someone else knows the location of the .mrh files that are created in game.
How do you do custom hair? I downloaded and am using a mod for more hair but can't get this option in toolset what do i do?
You will probably have to ask this in the custom content fourm or ask the person who made the hair mod.
how do you make it so you can play your cut-scene? do I have to make it as a mod and put a trigger in?
There are a number of ways to make a cutscene run. You can make an area (use the same one your cutscene is based on). Put a trigger in the area then in game walk on the trigger to start the cutscene.
How do you make custom movements like if I wanted to make them do martial arts etc?
You will have to do some research into custom animations if you want to make your own animations, You should be able to use exisiting animations though to do most things. You can get some useful cutscene spreadsheet utilities that list all of the animations in my project linked below.

Info on importing morphs from the game to the toolset is here.
Unfortunately, all that does is make and post an exact copy of your character's head for use on an NPC in your module.
IIRC one way to edit a morph created in game is to use Bioware's standalone character generator.

pro;
what do you mean unfortunately it only makes an exact copy of your character's head to use on an npc? man, ive been wanting to do that FOREVER!!!
How to Use Custom Hair in the Toolset:
typowolf has a tutorial for that on her blog. note, i had trouble with the hair not showing up in the game after i made the morphs with the custom hair... had to move the morphs to another override directory (the add-in for the module i was using.)
http://whuffie.wordp...lset-tutorials/
blaze, there are lots of tutorials on using the cutscene editor for machinima. if you go to the wiki and follow the module, area, (creature), and cutscene tutorials, you should get a good handle on it.
http://social.biowar...x.php/Main_Page
also, check out the cutscene creators guild for some tutorial links. and check my blog tutorials; i do have a 2-part 'cutscene quick start' video tutorial, that will show you basically where everything is, and how to use creatures and areas from the game.
http://bloodsong13t....-age-tutorials/
(well crud, i dont seem to have the quickstart linked on there. i'll fix that asap.)
