I haven't had any bugs with her, I just have an end game one where I run into my room and Meredith starts speaking.
Meredith? In your room? Good god man, shes not supposed to be a LI!

So you haven't had the Act III bug? What system are you playing off of?

Yeah, I got that bug and I was wondering if there is a way to prevent it. (Aside from waiting for a patch)MasterSamson88 wrote...
Well the bug is that the talk occurs early. Specifically at the start of Act 3 where she's weeping in front of her mirror.

Did anyone hear any companion banter regarding Merrill's Act III quest? I got one with Sebastian telling her she needed to atone and such.
I kind of wanted to punch Anders for some of the jerk comments he was throwing at her after her companion quest.

This before or after he murders the cleric, and gives you the option of taking it out on him

Well this is before he blows the Chantry up. It's just random party banter really, he kind of chides Merrill because of Merathari's death.
When Merathari sacrifices herself for Merrill and he's in the party he'll also say something along the lines of "That was the most noble thing I've ever seen someone do... why did she have to die and not you?!"
She's kneeling there crying and I'm just thinking "Cripes Anders! Now is not a good time for this."

LOL! I thought the same thing. It happens when I resume my finished campaign, its also happened when the credit's finished rolling. Hawke will run into the room and stare at her dresser and she and Meredith will repeat the dialogue from their last meeting.

The 360. No real bugs to be honest, been running smoothly except for the post credits issue.

Merrill is one of my favorite characters and I enjoyed her story for what it was but it was not what I was hoping for. I was hoping that blood magic was displayed as more of a gray art than an evil one, however Merrill's story, along with a running theme in all of DA2, is that regardless of intentions blood magic is always bad. Defining magic in terms of black and white sort of cheesed up a world that was establish in DA:O as murky or gray.
I think they got that across actually. Think of Merrill's intention when choosing to use blood magic. Her intentions were noble and selfless. Jowan used blood magic out of fear of what would happen to him and his life, and in DA2 we can see some people do it for selfish reasons.
Now, the Chantry and Templars are more vocal about their mistrust of mages and their power, but I think they tried to paint blood magic in a few different ways.
But, it seems like in real life, the bigoted side is more vociferous than their opposition.

also, Merrill romance banter happens a couple times. take her with you into the sewers to grab that sela patrae crap and Anders has a go (or atleast he did for me) asking if im sure about her. i just turn round and tell him that she loves me then she pops into view and gives him an earbashing for being nosey...... lol she also accuses him of being jealous at another point too...... lol
and if you take Varric and Isabela for a walk they start talking about you too.... Varric asks Isabella if shes jealous......

The only reason she took it up in the first place was because it was the only way to clean the mirror of its taint.

There's a couple in Act III between her and Avaline. One was Merrill asking Avaline to look after Hawke if something happens. The other involved Avaline asking Merrill why she wanted to get involved if this wasn't her war, and her saying she loves Hawke and it erases any doubts she has.Somebody wrote...
Is there any banter about her and Hawke if you romance her?
Edit: The second one I mentioned www.youtube.com/watch
