I am unable to open speical deliveries chest. Journal says go home and see but wont let me target it

mine is starting to do this after i picked up my BDA

Same here. Was able to pick up the first load, then played Legends and unlocked something else. The quest symbol appears above the chest, but now I can't open it. Drats.

hey guys i figured a possible solution. i had a save when i entered kirkwall. i just loaded from there did the quest to enter, then headed straight to the house and viola i got all my rewards. if you need to restart try that...should take u too long still beginning of the game
