I've seen a lot of stuff about negative first reviews, and just wanted to say I'm still really pumped to receive and play my copy.
From the demo alone, I'm quite pleased with how the game turned out. Even if the game isn't a 10/10 in my opinion, I've still gotta give props to BioWare for the work done.
Still really pumped

It should be a really fun game. I had very high expectations that have slowly been dwindling for the last three weeks, but I guess that's a good thing. At least now I won't go into the game expecting to be wow-ed; things can only get better.

Just don't be like me and play the demo on a console and get the game for the PC, they do not play alike.

A realistic opinion.

It's fun. You have to keep in mind it's NOT DAO. It's not a sweeping giant saga of how to save the world blah blah blah.
Here's my way of explaining it. (at least, from my experience so far, I'm not that far in I don't think) ...
... if you liked playing through Denerim in the Landsmeet more then any part of the game - and I speak of side quests + the main quests where you do the whole anora-alienage-talking to nobles thing? I think you'll like it IMO. It's a city, it's a more political vibe to it.
I like that.
