AH-HA I say, so that's how Morrigan's mother would aviod the incoming death. If many of you have reached this point. Flemth comes to you early on in the game and asks you to deliver a strange gem to the city. However she doesn't tell she part of her "essence" is inside it.

Then once you bring the item to where you promised. Flemath appears again talking about Morrgian starting to suspect that her daughter has turned on her. So if you killed flemath in Dragon Age Orgins, she comes back (Anyone see a set up for Dragon Age 3?)

On a side note I don't know if it's because I have directx11, or whatever the case. But this game is simpley a piece of art. Everything is so beautiful. I already did several quests I am in awe how the game flows with its graphical design. It's not something you can put into words, if this game was any better graphics wise it might be in 3D.

Again it may be my video card but at certain moments in the game, the screen light's up and it looks like a painting. Rather then just a plain 2d video game.
