Vista 64-bit sp2
4Gig ram
HD5870 (catalyst version 10.8)

I keep freezing and crashing when escaping lothering(always before or at when you meet avaline)


Do I need to update my display driver? Really dont want to if I dont have too.

Unfortunately, Dragon Age II was made with the most recent display drivers in mind and as such there are a lot of issues with older drivers in some cases. I strongly recommend getting the most recent ones.

Hopefully this will not anger him but I suggest PM'ing 'Gorath Alpha', he is a community member that knows a GREAT deal more than I do about all things video card related and can likely give you a hand or point you to a decent resource for your issue.
