Are DA2 profiles disabled at the moment, or am I missing something? I clicked "activate online profiles" but nothing seemed to happen.

mutex and RGDekta are you both playing on the PC? If it doesn't work right away I would wait a couple hours and try again as it is likely a sync delay with your game profiles.

I'm playing the Xbox 360 version and the "Activate Online Profiles" link doesn't work for me either. I tried it last night and again just now.

yes I am on pc the activate profile link does nothing on the site and I have been playing online and still nothing (it has been about 1 day)

I had a problem with mine earlier but now it's working.I play on xbox 360.
Follow these steps:
1: Register your game.Pick the appropriate platform you're playing on.If you have more than one
copy of DA2 for different platforms,register all of them.
2: Sync up gamertag/EA/Bioware account.Make sure you pick the correct gamertag/platform profile.This may take an hour to sync.Be patient.
3: You may need to log onto your gamertag/platform profile + Bioware account through the game itself.So basicly you should be logged in at both places at once;here on the site and in the game.
4: Create a character in DA2 and save it.
5: Under your avatar picture (upper left of this site page) go to "My Games">"Dragon Age II".You should see a list of your registered games under the "Games" tab on your profile.
6: Go to Dragon Age II on the list and click"(Activate Online Profiles)".Afterwards,your version of the game should show up on the list highlighted in yellow.For example: Dragon Age II - Xbox 360.Click on it.
7: Your DA2 profile should show up.If your character's picture is not showing up, click on "achievements" and "unlocks" then click on "characters". (It worked for me) to view your character.
Your PC's avatar should then show up in the list of pictures to choose for your full profile.
If it still isn't working, wait a couple hours and try again or report it.Make sure to double check that the info you entered is correct.Hope this helps!

I dunno if this matters but when I tried to upload my char it didn't work until I quit the game. (Had it minimized.)

I had this problem tuesday but it's worked now for me. btw new to these forums(didn't log in with the EA details til tuesday)
Also one of my characters image I uploaded from origins doesn't show.

I've been trying to get it to work. I click the Activate Online Profiles button and nothing happens. I've been trying since yesterday and I know the game is connected while running. I'm on the PC.

Yeah, I'm click click clicking away on the "Activate Online Profile" and most of the time it doesn't do anything. Occasionally, it will move the interface down a space like it's making room to put the link in, but it doesn't.
I have been playing the game since Wednesday, and I've been logged in at all times. It doesn't really look like anything can be done to make it work. It either does or it doesn't.

That click on it til the bugger compiles does work.
Edit: maybe too good. It uploaded some I have long deleted too before trying this trick. I experimented and still am with builds so played a lot through to level 5 to delete and retry what will be my first play through. Why did it grab deleted ones before I could activate this?

Keep clicking that activate profile button then sooner or later it will appear but I see it disappears again until I do the clicking until it comes back.

I've had that happen when I chose not to display my first created character because I wasn't going to use it again. Then none updated. I allowed that one to come back to display then they all updated. I'm not sure that will help you but just FYI.
