I've tried that "click until it appears" solution. I did it at least two dozen times, nothing. I had the same issues with DAO. I only have two of DAO's playthroughs online when I had four.

I have clicked 'activate online profile' about oh, at least 50 times PER DAY since I installed the game on release day and all it does is reload the webpage without activating a damn thing. Most of the time the webpage reloads in a quick flash, sometimes it does a rather long 'thinking' reload, but no matter what, nothing happens - I'm still left with the 'activate online profiles' link and no other change. The game is properly registered and showing up in 'games registered', but the online profile thing does not work, at all.

I also am having problems with the PC version on activating it.

I've clicked on it about 25 times now, and it's never done anything. I've had the game installed and logged in in-game for about 3 days now.

It only just started working for me. I did this: Clicked like crazy on it all the time without letting it reload inbetween the clicks, then after I finished clicking and it reloaded, I clicked once, and the link showed up.

Now can we delete characters off the profiles? I have some showing that were long deleted that were just test drives. The character thing for DAO let us manage the characters to delete them off.

My DA2 character is also not updating. It shows that same stats as when I first clicked "activate online profile"

I tried on Firefox and it did nothing. I switched to IE, clicked on the link, and it finally worked.

I can't activate it, neither Firefox, neither IE. I try lots of times, in distinct PC and the link doesn't work.

same problem here! Has anyone tried getting the exclusive unlocks from this site into their game? that seems to work. I activated the 4 exclusives for xbox 360 and they appeared in the chest at home so obviously the website IS communicating with my game...now if only the 'activate online profiles' link would work....

The ling won't work for me too. But even it will work sometimes in the future, the profile stuff will probably be borked like with DAO...
This site needs an extensive overhaul.

I had the same problem for a long time but yet again, just keep clicking to register your game and eventually it SHOULD work. Good luck y'all. xD

This. Not only that, I activated my profile after finishing my game and for some reason it uploaded how my character was in like the middle of Act 2. Bioware, I've been waiting 3 days for my account to update (while mashing the activate button) and it hasn't changed at all.

Well I kept clicking until it appeared but it only uploaded a character instead of the other 2 I have, I deleted the one that's in my profile and can't upload the ones I have already, any help?

Still no change for me, the game is logged in and my firewall isn't blocking the game. My profile simply isn't appearing no matter how many times I click.

Same here, been clicking on that "Activate Online Profiles" link every day since release, it's still showing no matter how many times I click on the damn thing! Occasionally I'll get a "There was an error processing the request." pop-up window, but other than that, clicking on the "Activate Online Profiles" link doesn't seem to have any effect, nothing changes! I have DA2 PC version, Signature Edition. The game is registered, as is all my bonus content. When I start the game I log into my EA/BioWare account, all my unlockables and downloadable content show up and my email address shows in the bottom left corner of the main menu screen so I know the game is connecting to the correct account. I've equipped and unequipped items, made full manual saves, quick saves and ofc auto-saves. I've created characters, deleted characters, shortest time played in a single session is about 1 hour, longest time played in a single session is about 6 hours. I've waited from 1 hour to over 24 hours for something to upload! Yet still nothing happens when I click the "Activate Online Profiles" link after 8 days of trying! Is anyone from BioWare even bothering to take notice of these problems?

I had so many problems with uploading anything from DA:O that I just ended up turning virtually everything off, the only thing I still upload from DA:O is achievements as that's about the only part of the upload process that ever worked for me. I had multiple DA:O characters, some just never uploaded, some didn't get their avatar upoaded, some didn't get their stats uploaded and some never got their equipment uploaded. I used to see so many posts about the various problems with the whole "online profiles" part of DA:O, every so often I'll re-enable all the uploading options to see if it actually works properly, but I still get the same problems so I just end up disabling everything except for achievements yet again!

So here we are with DA2 and players are complaining about the "online profiles" either not working at all or working sporadically!

I use Firefox v3.6.15 but I've also tried using IE 8.0.6001.18702, there was no difference, the "Activate Online Profiles" link doesn't actually activate anything in either browser!
