Not sure why BW has such a hard time with allowing an animal to be summoned between areas, but it needs to be done. Either there needs to be a sustained summons or no cool down for resummoning Dog.
Thanks!
Can someone mod a sustained summons for Dog, please?

I agree, it's extremely annoying. He needs better ai too. Quite often he doesn't follow me or runs to the farthest enemy or enemies in a completely different room. I can't heal him either.

While the Mabari in DA:O took too much place (so was rarley used) he is pushed too far into the back now. I hope they can somehow figure out a nice middle ground where we can still level him, heal him etc.

He's a summon, he doesn't respond to manual control. Bless him when he takes a dirtnap from an assassin/hunter backstab instead of one of my team.
I don't use him that often, do conversations/cinematics dispel him too? I recall him disappearing during one of the cinematic sequences in the lowtown alienage...

I miss being able to control my dog. You were able to do that even with Ranger summons in DA:O.

I miss when he used to do damage.
