Perhaps I should have followed the reviews more before I bought this game. I liked micro managing my companions equipment. I liked being able to explore a world at my liesure. I like having a clear plot and a feeling that I was doing something important, not just living in a city. I liked seeing the enemy markers on the mini map, and developing a plan of attack, and not just having wave after wave of bad guys just appear.

This game has ok graphics (Mass Effect 2 is better) and nice voice acting, but the characters are not as memorable, being trapped in that city is boring, and the combat becomes just repetitive pause and click that makes it difficult to care.

I liked Dragon Age: Origins because it was like a well done Never Winter Nights. This game is more like D&D Heroes. A button pressor with good dialogue. Perhaps my opinion will change as I try to tackle the next 30 hours, but after having played BG, NWN, NWN2, KotOR, KotOR2, DA:O, ME, and ME2... for the first time, my faith in Bioware has been shaken.

I hope they made lots of money, because its gonna be tough to convice me to play a third chapter.
