 Upon first entering Kirkwall I got the load of DLC items from the Special Deliveries box.

Later, after unlocking the Ivo Family Crest on facebook - the quest shows up in the journal but I cannot open the chest any more.
 
Seems that ps3 people have the same problem too. Any solutions other than reloading a save from outside Kirkwall?

I am having the same issue. It seems like it worked the very fist time i entered my house now i am at the hawk estate and i have a few new toys unlocked from dragon age legend, newsletter, registering etc and while it shows the quest arrows above the chest it will not let me access it to get the items.

This seems to be a problem on all console formats and really hope they get this fixed asap. I have literally stopped playing while i am waiting for it to happen.

Are both of you logged into your EA Accounts while trying to access the chest?

When I first downloaded them, I had no trouble. Then, I completed one of the Legends quests, and got another... I couldn't open the chest.

I left, went to another area, came back to the house (still in the uncle's hovel.) I could open the chest and access the item.

Have you tried that?

I was able to get my Dead Space armor, Blood Dragon Armor, etc. etc... took me about 5 mins for all the codex spam to fall off my screen. Today I unlocked the belt from the Dragon Age Legends facebook game and I can't open my chest to get the belt. It's got the quest icon but I can't open it, I just pull out my sword and grunt!

The solution that Red provided works. I left the area (Just random area in Kirkwall) and came back to Gamlens house. After that I was able to open the special delivery chest and retrieve the facebook items.

I also was seeing a problem with the Special Deliveries Chest not working for me. Last night when I logged in a got a collection of items that were already associated with my account. Today while at work I did some poking around and signing up for news letters, entering my pre-order code.

When I returned home today I got a collection of messages saying that new stuff had arrived, my Special Deliveries chest had items in it, but I was unable to access it. I had to form up a party and move to another Kirkwall location ( for me the Hanged Man ) and then return to Gamlen's house before I was able to get all my new loot.

A bug, but one with a easy work around.

Need my faaaaat loot!

So ive been having this issue as well, (im always signed into my account while playing) only leaving and coming back does NOT fix it. I've gone to every kirkwall location and outside kirkwall locations back with no luck at all. This is after i move into the Hawke Estate,

When i get near it, the 'special deliveries' title lights up as if it's selected, only there is no icon next to it like there is with other selectable things in the Hawke Estate. I cannot even select it while holding L to bring up the radial menu, which normally shows you all the selectable things around you, the title stays lit as always but still no icon and no way to activate it.

I did get into it once, after the cutscene when Gamlen comes in asking about your mother. The box worked as normal, and as soon as i got my items out, it resumed its previous behavior.

The box is marked with a quest objective marker all the time. Even now that its empty. (assuming something new hasnt come for me since i was last able to check it)

I'm also having this issue. Started in the uncle's house and now that I'm in the mansion it still isn't working. Just got another message that I unlocked something but I can't access anything. The quest marker is there. As far as I know I am signed into my EA account and I have left and come back a few times.

So is there any news on how to fix this? I am having trouble accessing my special delivery chest in Act 2 at the Hawke Estate, i have left to numerous spots and came back and still nothing. Can anyone help?

Strangely enough, after unlocked Evra's Might or whatever from the DA Legends game on facebook I could access the chest again. It only had that and the Evra's Belt and nothing else. After taking those there was still a quest marker over it.
