I've updated my NVidia drivers, I've made sure to flip Configuration from DX11 back to DX9, I've updated my firewall exceptions, I've run as administrator.

I successfully downloaded & completed the demo multiple times when it launched. I've lowered all my settings, uninstalled, & reinstalled.

I successfully reach the DA2 Launcher & hit "Play" then wait. Within 10-30 seconds I get a window stating (No details given) "Dragon Age II has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. WIndows will close the program & notify you if a solution is available."  (Of course it doesn't have one yet.) 

Laptop Specs:

Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU     T7700  @ 2.40GHz
2GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
Microsoft Windows Vista (SP2)
DirectX 11 (Jun2010) or later (I have the settings set to DX9 which I am happy to use just an FYI)

I just want to play the game I've paid for.

Update: Updated to the current (Non beta) Nvidia graphics driver for my card.
Installed game via DVD/CD
Problem Occurs 100% of the time ever since first attempt to start

Anything else I am missing?
