Well, hes gone now. Are you satisfied? I mentioned the idea that his story was still untold but people were glad Hawkes got his show. Now we have a convoluted mess of sidequests all for the vain goal of 'reaching the top.' Honestly might as well say fable 3 is the best when it comes to story if bioware wanted to make a story just like it.
