First of all, I really like the game.  It's one of the best I've played in a long time.  Anyway, this is my 2nd run through w/ the game as a human noble. One of the things that impressed me is how my character is treated bt NPCs.  They either recognize I'm a noble or once they find out, act w/ respect/disdain/whatever.  However, when I get to Denerim, something rather something seems to be wrong.  I don't think it's a bug, perhaps just something missed.

The human noble origian involves the character's family, almost all of them, being killed by Arl Howe.  So, sh has a hate o for this guy.  However, when in Denerium, she learns through a friendly drawven smithy that saif Arl is in that very city. I fully excpect my character to apre s**t, but she merely thanked the dwarf and went about her way.  I don't think this is a bug, perhaps something the bioware people missed.  I haven't expolered all of Denerium, yet so maybe there is an apres**t moment.  Just wondering if anyone else has either found this inconsistancy or found otherwise.  It's not really that big a deal, concidering how massive the game is and is more of an observation than a complaint.  Again, love the game.

Are you talking about Arl Howe? Well you can't really do anything about it since you kill him in the main campaign, and charging in there without a small army will be nearly impossible to siege the castle...

What I am disappointed about is not being able to use my family sword to cut off his head or use his own torturing devices on him.

This. Seriously. I wanted to make him suffer for a bit before I killed him. Same with Vaughan (sp?) in the city elf origin. There should be an option for a slow death a la Bring Down the Sky with that Batarian leader. It was so not satisfying.
