I found all the pieces by accident. I didn't even realise I had the whole set until I was clearing out my inventory.

The helmet does not drop from the guy the guide says it does from. Its bugged and i found it randomly. just make sure u loot and run around killing everything and doing all side quests before finishing act 2. Even do the gangs at night crap around town to ensure u got it. I didnt even realize when i picked it up till i was sick of running around and decided to sell before finishing act 2.
And to whomever asked about best armor for rogues, as like the other chapters: part 3 has the final armor set for any class. The Champion armor drops from main quests all but the chest which u have to kill the high dragon at the mines for ( mine massacre). Make sure u loot every body and every chest just to make sure you get your stuff, even though i think they only drop from bodies.

According to the DAWiki, you might be able to pick the Guardian (the chest piece) from Magus Tavarin Hall (the mage in the NW part of the Wounded Coast). Has anyone actually bought this item from him though?

(it also says that one should be able to find it in the Gallows Passage, but I don't think it's true) It is somewhat irritating that we have to choose between story and an item...

What I don't understand is why pieces can drop from different locations. Spiral Eye chest I think was from one of the many graves on Sundermount. Granted if you just want to follow the story you can cheat and use console commands on the PC to get any set you want...

The official game guide lies sometimes. The helmet from that set is such a case... I could name a few more instances here (Sebastian is incorruptable in the fade! Truefax!!!), but I already feel off-topic so I'll stop. I've learned to shrug it off and make my own little notes in the margins, but I will say that whoever wrote that thing deserves to be slapped. Let someone else write the game guide for DA3. OK?please?Thnx.
