My computer can run the game with all the settings to max and run it completely smooth, however when I turn on this one setting random lines appear all over the ground that go across the screen. I cannot seem to find a solution to this. Any one else have this problem or know why its happening?

No bug submission forms per say.... I submitted a question to tech support and they aren't doing anything really. I did find some settings that allow both the in game aa and the occlusion to be on. It has something to do with aa settings on the catalyst control. What exactly is going wrong I'm still not sure But the settings at least work haha Just wish I could figure out tue exact thing going wrong. Want me to take a screen pic of the settings that work with everything for u?

Ill go ahead and tell ya the settings that work for me. I do have 2x5870 so my hardware is a bit different and i am running them in crossfire mode. I also have cc version 11.2   I hope these settings will work or u too. Also there are a few things that i have changed in cc in order to get a few more frames out of it  but they dont have anything to do with the issue  so for simplicity i will just list the settings that i found to have a problem with dragon age.

IN CC-

smoothvision hd: anti-aliasing    uncheck use application settings, put filter type to edge-detect and have the level at 4x (should give 12x samples)

have cc force on v-sync

IN DRAGON AGE 2-

I have everything set to max including aa and antriscopic   also have all the extra things on excetpt the focal point diffusion thing (just do not like the way it looks)   i also have the very high texture package installed

make sure the aa in the game is turned on because for some reason the cc does not seem to override the settings here and do anything   but still affects the issue we both have (weird i know haha)

one last thing is that i have everything on in the game and different settings in cc but the aa is the only thing that causes the issue   dont forget that this is what works for me  so set whatever u need to to get the best performance for ya  just make sure the aa is what i have set in cc because no other one seemed to work

hope this helps  i have some pics i can email to ya if it would make it easier   couldnt post them here for some reason

It worked for me. It is Outstandangly beautiful. But my hardware can't keep up on the AA department at 1680x1050. Will probably get a 6850 or a 6870.

Thanks!!!

This should be made a sticky!!!
