That isn't what he said at all.  He was never talking about the constructive criticism (which is tiny minority of the negative opinions being given now), but all the kneejerk "worst game ever" spam, which was exactly the same when DAO came out.

That's indeed the case. I remember the flurry of hate on the forums right after DAO was released-- had you been by the forums then, you would have thought it was the worst game ever.

And, yes, of course constructive criticism is wonderful. But at this stage we see precious little of it, I'm afraid. That's pretty normal.

Did I say there wasn't any constructive criticism? No, I didn't.

But I suppose I make a convenient target, as the only thing I could say at this point that would be considered acceptable would be some kind of grand mea culpa that agrees with someone's opinions. All I can say is that, if there is constructive feedback, we'll definitely look at it-- though wading through the rest of the posts does not make that easy.

We do have work to do, you know? Which I will get back to.
