tried running as admin, drivers updated, dl'd from D2D.

Any suggestions or points in correct direction are appreciated.  

I've searchd around forums and found a similar thread, but there is no Bioware response.

I believe that I can safely believe you are running Windows XP. Which Service Pack number?

Also, tell me about your graphics driver in particular.

P. S.  Most of the answers in here, once the place settles down some, will be between gamers, such as myself, and other gamers, such as yourself.  Official Support is on EA's Help Site, and Bioware only encourages some interaction here in the forums when games are brand new, but still, they can only deal with a fraction of the traffic.

It seem that most people seem to be getting past this by downloading Theta or Reloaded cracks. Best of luck to you all.

Pardon my newbness but whats a Theta? and How do i get a Reloaded Crack? any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED, seeing as how PEOPLE ARE BEING IGNORED BY BIOWARE
