So I installed earlier tonight and when I tried to launch I had an anti-virus error. Fixed that, re-installed, was told the game isn't compatible with my version of Windows. I assumed this was because I didn't have SP2. Hours of updates later, I now have SP2 and re-installed, and it still says the game isn't compatible with 64-bit. What's going wrong now?
Incompatible with 64-bit Vista?

I know it's supposed to work with 64-bit and does for some. I'm trying to figure out why it keeps telling me it's not compatible when it is. ><

Also, for some reason, after each re-install the dragonage2.exe file seems to get corrupted by the first attempt to run the game. The first time it will say it's incompatible with Vista 64-bit, but thereafter nothing will happen if I hit Play on the launcher, the icon on .exe file in the bin_ship folder changes, and the Config program doesn't recognize dragonage2.exe as having any version.

I downloaded a DVD fix from GameCopyWorld Link: http://m0001.gamecop..._2.shtml#Dragon Age 2 v1.0 [ENGLISH] No-DVD/Fixed EXE
And that fixed it for me. Hope bioware resolves this soon, but in the meantime I will be using that.

I did the same as xebioz, and it worked right away. THANK YOU!!!! Must be a corrupt exe file that just needed to be replaced.

Thank you for the information, but not being all that confidant with computers, I'm not sure what to do. It gives 2 options, but won't let me do anything with either. (Having the 64-bit problem too) Any advice? I would really like to play!!!
