I played all DAO...Many times I prefered soloing.  Sometimes I would bring one other character along.  Please tell me that I can do the same in DA2.

I dont see why not, if you just dont select people from the companion screen. There are times when you will be forced to bring someone along though. Truth be told I'm honestly surprised youd bother to buy the game if you dont enjoy the companion, thatd be like cutting out half the story (and content).

Well....I enjoyed DAO immensely playing that way. Now the new combat system is not exciting me so far.
