The elf in the first post was the only one in the entire game that looked weird to me. One single weird elf, and the OP uses that as a representative example for all elves? The elves in DA2 looked fantastic, and they finally have a unique look. In DA:O they were just short humans with pointy ears.

Did any of you people see Zevran in Da2...Gaaah. He looks 10x better in Da:Origins.
Plus I hate the fact they gave all the elves accents I thought it was special to meet an elf with an accent but now they ruined it. *Face palm*

Didn't like the elf redesign, maybe it's because I played DA:O so much that when i saw and heard them in DA2 it just didn't appeal to me.

I liked the new Welsh sounding Dalish accents; the problem is not all the Dalish sound Welsh.

Theres one that sounds really out of place in the Dalish camp that sounds Irish. Irish!

He rattles out every time you run by him something along the lines of "never forget arrows be trained on ye at all times..." Or something like that. In a really thick irish brogue.

I mean come on! It's not as if Irish and Welsh accents sound remotely similar! They dont!

I mean had the VA been goin for a Scots accent and got Irish i might have let him away wi it; because certain irish and scots accents do sound similar; but Welsh and Irish sound nothing alike.

Also to the person who said he only saw the one elf that looked bad. You must be playing a different game from me because I thought Fenris and Merill were the only decent looking elves in the game.
The rest of them look mentally retarded.

And I dont mean that nastily. I mean it completely seriously.

They look like they have Downs. An entire race of Downs Syndrome Elves. Its awful.

Almost all the elves in DA 2 have been hit by the ugly stick. They looked different enough for me in DA:O. If I want fishface space aliens, I'll buy a Sci-Fi game/movie.

There's actually 4 gopd-looking elves that I can think off.

Merril, Fenris, that smuggler elf you work for the first year and that elf girl you save from that killer.


Hate the bare feet, don't mind the accents.

There are a number of real swords that were that large. The scottich claymore could be about 5 1/2 ft long, same with the flamberge,  some swords reached up to 6ft in total length. So a two handed sword that seems oversized is not all that far off from the real world.
