My Bethany is the default but she has a darker color skin. I think she looks very pretty like that.

Yeppp. Their facial features and such change based on your appearance, and then the preset you pick also contributes.

I would love it if someone would post the different siblings for each preset. There was a chart in the demo thread, but I think some are different for the retail release.

Carver is hot in my game.  I'm so confused!!!!



This is the dearly departed Bethany.




I don't remember which preset it was- it was toward the end of the scale and she originally had mousy brown hair.  This is my Hawke.

Ha, these were my Beth/Carve. I guess there's presets for them based on Hawke's skin tone (my Hawke is custom, but went with a darker/olive skin tone)

And yeah this version of Carver looks like some suave Spanish actor.

Heh, yeah maybe that was it.  My Hawke also has a honey/ olive skin tone.

It seems that the face system is designed to give Bethany some moe eyes.

It seems that it's easier to see familial resemblance with the surviving little sibling if they match your Hawke's gender.

I Warden'd her.  Couldn't stand the thought of her being that close to crazy zealots with a magical lobotomy branding iron, or of Ser Wesleying her.  This was after I played through Act 1 conclusion once already with her left at home.  Turns out I didn't need Aveline to tank, as Beth was quite well-suited to raining unholy amounts of fire down on the 'Spawnies, and later the rock wraiths.  I wanted to lop Cullen's head off then and there.

I want her back now, she was a good DPS mage...

I honestly didn't realized that their appearance varied this much. I was under the impression initially that the only things that altered are hair and skin tone.

This is very interesting.

Ill try to get a picture of my Bethany and Hawke up soon. It wont be great quality, since I am on Xbox with no measure of screen capture.
