 HI,

Basically, I picked up nwn 2: Storm of Zehir years ago. I want to upgrade to the Mysteries of Westgate now. However, unable to find the box (disk) in any shop. I see it for download. But I use online  visa cards for game purchases and I found out that it would not accept the online cards at Atari.. not sure why.. cause steam will take my money..and I guess I will have to buy the entire game off steam to get the last expansion  . 

Here is my questions:

I have built a substantial mod in SOZ..will my mod transfer over without issue to MOW?

What extra content  will i get for upgrading to the next expansion  ? 

Anyway to just upgrade without having to re buy the entire game again?

I can't tell you where to buy it, but it's not an expansion, just a premium module. So no extra races, classes, etc. No new content for the toolset as well AFAIK, but I can't tell for sure.

I don't know if the platinum version at Steam includes MoW.

Anyway, even if it's less than you thought, I still recommend purchasing it if you can. It's one of the best modules out there.

Ok-- so Westgate will not upgrade my Tool set for all the extra content? If I have Storm of Zehi I am up to-date for the full tool set? I am totally confused now..I am sure I do not have all the content..

I guess what I am tyring to avoid is buy something I already have.  I just want all tool set content.

Westgate is simply a module, not an expansion. It is simply a module you have to pay for.

If you have Storm of Zehir (and of course you're all patched) you are up to date.

Ok thanks guys.. I am sure I don't have everything..i am sure things are missing. I patched up..maybe I don't have Storm of Zehi---- when I patched.. said up to date shows the Storm of Zehi splash on the patcher..how can I tell .. lol this may seem silly...agreed however, I never pay the game just use the tool set.. maybe I never upgraded to SOZ.. how can I tell? by the patch version?

I dont have it with me to tell but think I am 1.7 patch

Last patch is 1.23.

Usually I notice when I buy or install a game, but well...Start the game, new game, new campaign. You'll see what you have there.

Not everything used in storm of zehir is part of the standard stuff available in the toolset. There are campaign and module specific items and scripts in the OC, MotB And SoZ. Things that are campaign or module specific will not appear in the toolset unless you load a module in the campaign.

And none of the mow areas cabe examined in the toolset. They did upload some of their content to the vault though.

Guys.. I figured out that I don't even have SOZ. Although I have a SOZ splash screen on the patcher and it tells me up to-date... I only have NWN2 installed..go figure.. been just working away on my mod on and off for years now.. not really paying attention to the goings on with the game. More concerned with scripting and writing a good story (mod).

So I am very excited. I hope my Mod will convert over with no issue..we will see. Thanks for all your help!!
