Good Additions: better graphics, larger cities
Bad Additions: inventory system and character management is pathetic, combat is unrealistic compared to the original, you no longer can really customize your team, the entire game seems like it was built for a 12 year old playing XBox not a 34 year old on a PC.
The entire game seems like it should be played on a console, please either release a new Expansion for the old DA:O or release a PC version of DA:O II that is an actual sequel to the original. This is just my opinion and i'm sure plenty will disagree but i wanted my voice heard.

Don't try to speak for all of us. You have legitimate points but I hate it when people do this. Its not 'Your PC fans', its DownyTif.
I don't think any PC user is glad that iso view is removed and if you are then ...
This.... if you are go back to playing God of War....honestly though DA2 beyond saving... the cmbat itself is way to fast paced and you will always have another wave spawn out of nowhere....laughable to go from origins to this...
Derp derp, I'm a PC player and I'm too slow to follow the combat, derp derp.

All I really want to see is a Toolset. Soon. Very very soon. Almost all of the problems folks have with the game... gone. Fixed. Blamo!
Make it so number 1!

I think ISO camera is a minor issue really but probably just a matter of taste (zooming camera around seems to work fine, running Nightmare mode myself and I have little issue with micromanagment and tactics).

Yeah, I didn't think about the toolset when I started the thread, and people already replied mentioning numbers in it, so I "can't" put it number 1 but it's definitely the most important point. It would allow the PC modders community to fix a lot.

They've already explained the isometric view and you don't really need a second weapon slot since everyone can melee now when attacked at close range.Vandrayke wrote...
I miss the isometric view and second weapon slot.

Well, Dragon Age 2 Buy/Sell Menu is very ... well... less optimal for PC and generates many clicks.
It would be optimal if:
* you can see all the items of a merchant at once and not to have click via every category

Bioware has explained the reason why the isometric camera was removed. It was to provide a higher ceiling to environments.

They've explained why there's no camera, you obviously haven't done research, they also explained why you can't queue...
Yes, they did explain it.
To quote Mike Laidlaw in an interview a while back:

“For budgetary reasons, we focused our work on a 3rd person view, that asks for very detailed and nice textures so that the player can admire the game with a close-up view"
Detailed and nice textures like these:

The possibility to turn friendly fire on/off at every level.
I don't see why FF should be limited to the nightmare level. They could even put a "slider" with the damage level done by Friendly Fire for example 0% (no FF) 25% 50% and 100% (Full friendly fire damage)

You guys don't get it do you? PC is dying there's no money in making games based on the PC platforms and also I'm getting real sick and tired of all the The PC gamers hate for people who play actual gaming systems like the Ps3 and xbox. it's soo rude how people comment on how we are morons that cant Play PC games. That's ignorant bet you DA2 will do better because it's funner too play on the 360 and playstation. If anything blame world of warcraft and other MMO for ruining PC gaming. Little money in single player RPGs because of it. You PC gamers need too stop making comments about our age and comprehenion against people who own gaming platforms. That being said I sign and support your thread none the less.
Thanks for signing. If I can comment on a personal note, as the OP, well please take in mind that this thread has no intent on bashing any consoles or console gamers. All I want to do is help the cause of some PC customers who think that there are some features missing on PC. I can't control what people post in it though (see Leeboi2 comments, bashing the PC gamers, earlier in this thread).
That being said, I personally own a 360 and I bought DAO on 360 at first and decided I would have a better experience on PC, for my taste, so I switched. I play ME and ME2 on 360, plus many other games.
And again, thanks for participating

Of course you still need a second weapon slot. Dual-weapon abilities aren't available when meleeing with a bow.
