Starcraft disagrees with you.

Blizzard's PC game Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty -- had it qualified as a console video game -- actually would hit the charts with more than 300,000 copies sold. "In fact, PC games retail dollar sales saw a 35% increase over last August," Frazier says.

Agreed. I'm happy with the game so far, and I'm Level 14 atm.

Especially #5. This game would be so much better if the modders could get their hands on it.
Played DA:O on both the PS3 and PC.....(DA:O was my first EVER video game on PC). I prefer the PC experience over the console now. But that's just me. I won't go back to this type of game on a console. One of the reasons why? Portability. I can take the game with me when I travel, play it on my laptop, play it in bed, play it sitting at the airport. So nice.

"fix it" implies it's broken and It's not they took a new path in design like it or not, they won't change it for a few whiners.

You should also add that EA disagrees with him. There's an article of theirs saying how the PC platform might easily the rest.
Signed to this thread. I'd give DA2 a 9, if only they fixed the import feature (the worst offender, IMO) and improved the camera.

Just started the game and...............well I think I just don't get why the pace of combat is as high as it is.I mean, in a shooter speed is a gamplay factor. In a game like Dragon Age it just ruins cinematics, because it forces you to pause the game at shorter intervals to give orders and keep track of what's going on
really? I have yet to pause during fights, it play much like Mass Effect battles, better AI and a large number of tactics.
pausing a game during fights is so 1990's.

I'm a PC gamer, have been for almost 20 years, and the only thing I really want is the old camera back. If that could be done in a patch that would be awesome, but I doubt it can be.
well it's time to look forward to the future of gaming, if developers make games for PC they need to spend countless hours on compatibility with the endless PC configurations and the overall design of the game suffers.
It's time for all the endless posts "will my system run it?" it looks crappy on med settings" "I'm getting lag" to stop

The isometric camera was removed because of the art revamp being limited by the engine. It has nothing to do with whatever you said.

DA 2 makes a substantial number of significant improvements on DAO. However, the new flaws outweight them, especially the single-outfit companions (truly, WTF were they thinking?).
A toolset will go a long way towards making DA 2 more than a single playthrough game. I have no hope for improvements in the in-game camera, but I would settle for a dev console free camera toggle for screenshots like Bethesda has in their games.
This was my first and last time pre-ordering a game. I only did it because Bioware built up trust with me by doing such a stunningly incredible job with DAO, Awakening, and its DLC as well as SWKOTOR, NWN, and BG.

OP - you have my support

Well... if you are refering to this current thread, it's not whining. It's trying to suggest improvements (for us who agree) in a constructive way. If they decide to implement those things for us few, I'll be really happy to had a part in the process as small it is.

I would love for all the changes mentioned to be implemented. They are basic, fundamental game designs, and taking them out only hurt the game - gave no improvement whatsoever.

OP - you have my supportIt had nothing to do with not enjoying DA2, it is about it not being as could as if could be, for a few small reasons.
That's exactly what I think and what I'm trying to do !!
Thanks!

I'm with you there! I moved to console gaming (360) few years ago because I was tired of driver updates, frame rate problems, low quality graphics on my old machine... always thinking that I must upgrade something to make the next good game work... Then I finally decided to buy a gaming laptop and went back to PC gaming for some titles (and genres). But like Melness said, that's not why the iso camera or free move camera is missing.

Signed from an isometric perspective. Tactically. While demanding that people I bring with me wear what I damn well want them to wear.
Edit: Oh toolset, toolset, how could I even forget

I will not buy this game, maybe when it is discounted and I have nothing to play. Button mashing is not what I am interested in, the camera is horrible. I want a game that Bioware can be proud of, and DA 2 is obviously rushed.
For all of you who like or love the game, good on you. For the more traditional players, this game is 2 steps backwards.
