Hi, everybody! I got this conf:
Asus K40IN laptop
Win 7 32bit HomPrem SP1
NWN Diamond 1.69 critical rebuild
DualCore Intel Pentium T4400 2.2GHz
3072 Mb  (DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM)
NVIDIA GeForce G102M  (512 Mb) driver ver.266.58 (official, last)

Run NWN from EXE-file with full permissions and under compatibility mode windows XP service pack 3.
Video-setup-independent low performance. Whatrever resolution or video settings are it is:
1. when scene is idle it is 25-30 FPS.
2. when moving is abour 20 FPS.
3. when one or two enemies enters the scene it is below 5 FPS. (see attached pics)

Tried in vain:
1. Setting Client CPU Affinity=-2
2. Turingn off nvidia thread optimization

Please help me to get this awesome game playble!
System does 1600 score in 3DMark06. Dragon Age Origins with proper video setup runs never below 25 FPS (in most tense battles 20FPS).

That doesn't sound like much of a "solution"....

I think Oversemper was being sarcastic, referring to the fact that no one responded to the thread in 19 days.
If you're still checking this thread... did you try turning off shadows? Also, I know frequently the audio device is a problem. I can't remember exactly why (since it hasn't happened to me yet) but some other threads here might shed some light...

if it was dual core i thought the old bioware forums said cpu affinity had to be -1 not -2 as Oversemper said
