Maybe I should apply for a job at an Amazon warehouse and help speed things up in the future, if you get what I mean *wink wink nudge nudge*. Would get me out of this silly excuse of a country too.

Only other game I pre-ordered online was Fable 3 through Amazon and they gave me a code to track it which got a bit weird "Wait its in Omagh? It would have had to pass my damn house to get there. They are clearly playing psychological mind games with me!" I predict much fun with that feature if its implemented.

If a third party retailer gets it here this fast, amazon should be able to aswell.

Mine are the same, it usually takes days to tell me who took the money or where it came from. But my running total is always updated within minutes so I just work it out from that.

They always follow a set route the mail has to pass through a system and it does get a bit weird. I get used to the route though so at least i know the last stop before it's out for delivary.

But is it a set route designed to play psychological mind games with me? I think they used DHL last time so it had to go to their depot in Omagh.Moondoggie wrote...

Just got the email confirmation that its dispatched. No tracking number and delivery estimation has changed from the 12th to the 14th via royal mail. What was the point of pre-ordering and paying for first class again?

At least I always get a tracking number once it does get dispatched. Not that it often does me much good...except help raise my blood pressure when I see the order is just sitting in some sorting centre of our postal services for an entire week without anything being done to it.

I wrote to them especially to say "can you ensure Moondoggie's copy gets delayed, please? She'd really appreciate it. Lots of love, the Off-Topic Forum." Hope this helps.
You can't see my face right now but i assure you if looks could kill you would have died 10 times by now <_<

Too bad the postal services never deliver on Saturdays here (nor most couriers for that matter).
The fact that my tracking number doesn't work also doesn't bode well. :\\

Mine is Royal Mail too. What delivery estimate did you get?Moondoggie wrote...
Why does everyone else get a curiour and i get Royal Mail? Do you guys have the sun shining out your ass or something? XD Thanks to Royal Snail i'll probably get my copy next week
I'm trying to prepare myself for the annoyance of not getting it until monday. But its hard to shake the optimism that I'll get it tomorrow.

Well, other than me also writing to Amazon to say "P.S. and Morbo and Druss99, please. They hate getting stuff on time and prefer it to turn up fashionably late. You know how it is."

Estimated 11th March though i am skeptical since it's not tracked by the look of it so Royal Mail tend to be slower with those ones because nobody has their eye on what they are doing and how quick.

I wonder if I got a courier because I signed up to Amazon Prime? I order so much bollocks from them that it made sense, but I still figured I'd still get the same postage options as everyone else.
If i signed up to that i'd want a member of Amazon to deliver my package personally in a car driving non stop to my door and also a complimentary box of chocolates...The milk tray ones with the nice Turkish delights in them.
