Wondering what the specs are for the mage companions are in DA2? 

For that matter, id love to see a spreadsheet or info on all the specs for all the companions, the wiki isnt that detailed yet.

The only REAL healer is Anders. You can get Bethany A SINGLE HEAL spell. Merril cannot heal.

I say this loving Anders, but man, this is annoying. It is like Miranda in ME2, it just didn't make sense not to take her.

Geez.....Merrill can't heal at ALL? Wtf....? that.... makes no sense... I'm gonna have to look at her tree harder...

but, I am definitely loving Anders.....

Yeah, if you assume the mages all pull their base trees from the same set of six (elemental, primal, entropy, creation, spirit, arcane), then the companion mages are each missing one.

Merrill - creation
Bethany - primal
Anders - entropy

I'm going off of memory but I'm pretty sure those are the ones each mage is lacking.

And those who have a dead Bethany and will be killing Anders are boned as a result.

which is pretty much me. What's worse, is that I was relying on Bethany as my main AOE (+fire itemization is so jacked).
