Deleting save files

Once again it seems that Dragon Age is without and in-game option to delete save files. i had the 360 version of DA:O and you had to delete saves from the dashboard. i bought DA2 through Steam and i can't find where my save files are located to delete them. any help would be appreciated!

There are files in the "C:\\Users\\username\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2\\Characters" area. Although it isn't cut and dry what's what.

Just go to Load/Save (Forget which one has it) select and click delete, did it about thirty minutes ago so the built in option is definitely there.
