In the other games some romances were so specific, u enter one mouse click wrong and u lose it.

I want to romance isabella so do i need to worry about this or do i have to watch for that one line again ?

I can't find the thread now, but this was answered in a thread about Merrill, I think. Basically, you don't have many options to flirt with the ladies at the beginning of the game- don't worry about it. More come in act 2. I think you should try to pick flirt lines at least before you hit 50% on either side of the friend/rival spectrum. ALSO, I think it might only be possible to complete her romance as a friend, but she'll sleep with you no matter what.

"ISABELA ROMANCE
To sweep Isabela off her feet (despite her apparent
disinterest in such an outcome beyond a purely physical interpretation
of the phrase), you must complete the following objectives.

1:
You have to be on the friendship path to complete the romance with
isabela, though this isn't necessary for the first steps. She will sleep
with Hawke no matter the state of their relationship.

2: Flirt
with the Rivaini during the Isabela's Ongoing Search companion quest,
available from the start of Act 2. This will cause Isabela to make a
random visit to Hawke Estate at night during the events of Act 2. Flirt
again to sleep with her. In the following dialogue, you must ask why
Isabela is hesitant to fall in love, then explore the all "investigate"
options (as denoted by the ? icon).

3: Ensure that Isabela returns after To Catch a Thief (see Crisis Points).

4:
The final steps are to find and bestow both gifts, reach 100%

Im curious I didnt give her the second gift till after the Questioning beliefs because it wouldnt let me give her the present first then start the final stage, but I did get the "Now that I have my ship line" but what confused me was when you give her the second gift you either have the (heart) Im not looking for love comment or sorry this wan an in-appropriate gift. If im romancing her then why would you choose the im not looking for love option even if it ddid have the heart.

In the event that you just wanted to complete all quests and not actually romance her. As in, you might be trying to romance someone else or you're a completion fanatic. Romancing Isabella is relatively easy, so long as you like to loot everything and make choices during the story that involve the gain of money, pro-women, or independence/ freedom themes.

I also want to add that if you are romancing anyone, make sure you have patience. There are three parts to this game, you have to wait to the third for completion on most of them. Well, except for Merril, but she's ugly anyway.

I didnt do the first part of step 2 and still successfully romanced her. She still visited me randomly but it was due to me randomly flirting with her at the hanging man.

Can anyone tell me if we must explore all the (three?) "investigate" options to continue the romance? For I'm rather sure I left one out because it didn't seem appropriate.

I think Isabela is one of the characters that does not move in with you no matter what, I beat the game and romanced her too, got the achievement, but no move in

Hm, in my game I did most of these things ; Isabella returned with the relic because of me,
but afterwards she was standing in my estate with an exclamation mark above her head - yet nothing did happen when I clicked her.

she didn't move in for me either but still got the achievement. from what ive read, she is supposedly the only one who doesn't move in with you.

Could anyone let me know if declining the one-on-one duel with the Arishok once Isabella comes back breaks the romance? I'm going to keep trying but it's pretty damn hard with a DW rogue. I want to defend my pirate queen's honor though!

Complete act 2, while making sure that you max her friendship so she returns at the start of act 3.

Dont even need max friendship. I was about 15 points off and she still came back, and that's with only light flirtation, not out right romancing her.

IFrindship is maxed. Startin Act 3...then I visit her at the hanged man and all she says is her damn regret she came back. then there. we converse and that's it.

(Even morrigan is far more easier to romance than her.) Blasted!

i have maxed her friendship, i have returned to the hawk estate alot of times but isabella hasnt turned up for the romance scene, i am almost finnished act 2 now, is their some way to keep her in your party for act 3 whithout romance?
