Just found out my gamertag isn't linked to my account. How do I do that after the account is set up? It didn't tell me that the tag NEEDED to be entered when registering in order to access my in-game items. Now I can't find how to enter my tag to get my extra stuff.

You haven't been on with them for 40 minutes yet. That's when you get transferred to tier 2 who fixes the issue in less than 3 minutes.
And that is what just happened in a chat session I had with EA's chat support just a few minutes ago.

You lucky bastard! I've been working at it for almost that long... somehow my gamertag got associated with a wrong email address and they are trying to fix it. Shouldn't be that difficult!

They are telling me that my date of birth is wrong so they can't fix my problem! I'm starting to get so very angry!

I got my account synced but only by creating a new acct. I will be deleting this one now. When I signed up I had a typo in my email address. When you create your account just sign in using your EA email and password and it will automatically sync your profile. Do not create a profile just sign in with your EA info and it should take care of the situation. If you have already entered promo codes then its best to contact customer service at that point. I have been reading where they have sent new promo codes out because of this common mistake.

none of this has helped me. for some stupid reason getting an e.a account doesn't even work.
