So I was doing the Act 1 quest where you enter a ruin to find a man that had been kidnapping and killing elven children; a venomous spider (?) had a "Spider's Silk Gland" on it. It's marked with a quest icon but when I took it, I didn't get a journal update, nor is it listed in my inventory. Does anyone know what quest this is for?

It's for a quest to find ingredients for something -- either from Hightown or Sundermount, I forget which. Think it's the former.

ok, ive got this quest, done the Magister Quest, but did not find a gland, the area is still on my map but there is nothing to loot in the passage
anyone know if i can spawn the gland using the console?
Edit: Nvm, using the vaddin mod i was able to spawn it
