I was wondering if there's a way to turn off reinforcements from coming. I feel the ruin the immersion when they suddenly sprout from mid air. Perhaps it's moddable but I'm poor at that. So I was just wondering if anyone has found a way.

Sprout from midair? In my experience, they tend to introduce themselves. Jumping off walls, running from around the bend.

I am surprised to say that this reinforcement is my only issue with teh game. Everything else is great. I wasn't expecting the game to be this good to tell the truth.

I too am interested in a way to turn off repeat waves of the same guys.

The reinforcements do appear from thin air, and can show up behind you even when you have your back to a corner.
This is, probably, a script issue and should be relatively easy to solve with a couple more checks on conditions (like visibility).

Yeah, the multiple waves is my only issue with this game. I have a console version, so I have no way to mod it.

The problem is not the difficulty, but the fact they appear from nowhere. For me it breaks immersion when thugs appear from thin air or dropping down from the sky on ropes. I don't have problem with demons coming up from the ground, or skeletons.

Taleroth is right. Watch those reinforcements coming in. They don't sprout from thin air, they actually do spawn by you know...being sneaky SoB's. You can get like a 3 to 5 second head start with killing them if you catch them in the act...even killed a few before they ever touched the ground
