Does anyone know if we can buy extra space in our inventory like DA2? If so, does anyone know where I can purchase that?

Yes, I've found one backpack so far though I'm terribly sorry for the life of me I cannot remember who I bought it from. But you can, it increases pack size by 10.

It goes up to 100 and you can only buy 2 upgrades in Act 1 (Robes by Jean Luc and Apparel Shop in Lowtown), 2 in Act 2 (Robes by Jean Luc and Mage Goods) and 1 in Act 3 (Robes by Jean Luc).
