Again, more love for Fenris. Did they intentionally design that elf to be as sexy as possible to female players? Hell, most of the Camera shots are like "WOAH LOOK. I am a model of sexiness."
Though as a character, I still thought he was fascinating and awesome. Even when he grudged down on mages hardcore, his reasons were spelled out appropriately and correctly.
My favorite part of having that boy on my team was going to the Arashok and Qunari. Fenris is incredibly educated. Everytime I went to confront the Qunari, I made sure Fenris was at hand to be my Qun translator.

I agree with you wholeheartedly! The writers did such a great job and the voice actress nails her scenes consistently. When Aveline was promoted, I cheered.Clonedzero wrote...
i started the game expecting to hate and ignore her, but god damn did she turn that around by being super tough and awesome and super cute and feminine AT THE SAME TIME, i dunno how they pulled it off so well but it worked perfectly.

And Merrill. I was originally completely disinterested in her, and, as a Tali fan, a little annoyed that people kept comparing her to everyone's favorite Quarian. But she has completely grown on me, and I can definitely see some Tali similarities. I just wished she looked a little older because seeing Hawke flirt with her still kind of creeps me out.
^^ this, with varric! i love the moments my snarky fem mage hawke goes "varric, tell 'em who we are" or "varric, can you help me out?" and he pulls the "don't you know who this is?" routine. that actually got me outta trouble with some templars last night.
also, merrill and varric together. and when merrill said "****" just outta the random blue, i fell out of my chair laughing. some really great conversations.
