DA:O + DLCs save import summary bug?

Ok I just started a new game and tried to import my DA:O + DLCs save. I looked up the save summary and this is what I get:

Connor was freed from the demon.
Mages were recruited into the army.
Dalish Elves were recruited into the army.
Harrowmont rules Orzammar.
The Anvil of the Void was destroyed.
Loghain was killed.
Alistair is king of Ferelden.
Alistair performed the dark ritual with Morrigan.
The Warden killed the Archdemon.
Warden's Keep was reclaimed.
Shale was discovered.
King Cailan's corpse was burned.

Everything seems fine, just like how I remembered playing them, I initially thought. Until I realize that the summary doesn't mention anything about Awakening.

Can someone else who has a DA:O + Awakening + Amgarrak + Witch Hunt save post their import summary as well? I wonder why the game isn't detecting any Awakening decision? I would like to compare them to see if the game just isn't including the Awakening ones or it may be a bug.

I haven't played Golems of Amgarrak at all, but I've played all other expansions and DLC. I used my Witch Hunt save (save that was done after finishing all content), and I played the game in this order: DA:O --> Awakening --> Witch Hunt.

Connor was freed from the demon.
Mages were recruited into the army.
Dalish Elves were recruited into the army.
Bhelen rules Orzammar.
(so quite similar to the OP's)
Then I believe it mentioned that the Architect was left alive, and there was one other detail, but I forgot. Nothing on Morrigan though, which is weird since I thought they'd for sure mention Witch Hunt details... since ya know... still waiting on those answers! :P

When you load an import save, if you hit the "Triangle" (PS3) or "Y" button (Xbox 360), you can view the plot flags set with each save file.

**POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOLLOW**

It should be noted that the DLC packs "Return to Ostagar", "Darkspawn Chronicles", "Leliana's Song", "Golems of Amgaraak" and "Witch Hunt" have no plot flags that are checked inside of Dragon Age 2 right now, hence the lack of descriptive plot flags when checking your save file plot summary.

wow the forum is douple posting everything i write...

Anyhoo: DA:O (incl Shale&Wardens keep) --> Awakening --> Golems of Amarak --> Witch Hunt
Gets me:
Conner was freed from the demon
Templars were recruited into the army
Dalish elves were recruited into the army
Behlen rules orzamar
The anvil of the void was destroyed
Loghain beame a grey warden
Anora is queen of ferelden
The warden performed the dark ritual with morrigan
The warden killed the arch demon
Vigils keep was saved from the darkspawn
The architet is still alive
Wardens keep was reclaimed
Shale was discovered

So only got results from/events from DAO/Shale + Awakening
Nothing about events in Wardens keep, Golems of Amarack or from Witch Hunt though :-/

Warden's Keep is checked. There is content related to Warden's Keep if you have played through it.

"Wardens keep was reclaimed"

Sigh so that means my import is bugged somehow. The save I imported is the save made after finishing Witch Hunt. At first I thought maybe I somehow accidentally imported the Origins save file to GoA + WH instead of Awakening one but then that's impossible.

This is because my save file has my warden at level 35 and since the level cap in Origins is 25, I think it's impossible to hit 35 if I just play through GoA and WH. I'm just curious that no one else seems to have this problem as well.

Golems of Amgaraak and Witch Hunt use Awakening's level 35 level cap from Awakening. And it is possible to hit level 35 from level 25 within those 2 DLC packs.

I played Origins-->Awakening-->GoA-->Witch Hunt, imported witch hunt. No Awakening plot points appeared on my summary, and **spoilers**

Nathaniel mentioned that the warden let the Architect live, which is not what happened in the play through I imported. That was the only inconsistency that I found with the choices that I made--but it was a big one.

is this one of the priorities in the first patch? i was hoping to see nathaniel in DA2 (in the epilogue it said he survived the vigil's keep assault) i and didn't get his quest so i assume it's either due to this or another bug.

I don't think Awakenings has a check flag if you killed the architect and you went for saving Vigils keep. My plot flags on one save are saved Amaranthine and architect lived. On the way where I killed the arch and went back to the keep there are no flags. I am not 100% sure but my theory is the Nate bug is related to saving Amaranthine. I am playing the version where I saved the keep and left arch alive to see if Finding Nate unlocks this time.

My import (DA:O->Awakenings->Golems->Witch Hunt) worked fine, I saved Amaranthine and let Architect live, and I got Finding Nathaniel quest in DA2.

EDIT: Nathaniel has to be alive at end of Awakenings for quest to appear.

did you do the "fool's gold" quest in DA2? did it even appear?

check your quest log in the journal on the completed quests section (secondary quests to be more precise)

There's also a flag for saving vigil keep or not... A few other ones, but slowly checking through them... Also a funny Alistair flag too.

No. Apparently Fool's Gold is only available if one borrows money from the dwarf (forget his name) in Act 1 to go on Deep Roads Expedition, which I didn't.

fool's gold was available to me and i didn't borrow money from that dwarf.

What I meant is I think the game bugged when I left Nate at the Keep and saved Amaranthine. I had the keep fully upgraded so everyone survived but I did not get finding Nate. So I am not sure the game is handling Nate at fully upgraded Vigil and Amaranthine saved correctly. I have a save where Nate was in my party at the end but I have not played the import long enough to see if I get finding Nate.

Actually the worst part of the bug is you can't fully upgrade Varric without the quest. I really don't like the design choice that Varric's final upgrade and iirc the quest where you have to find those books relies on the choices you made in Awakenings or if you choice the one correct background story out of 3. I would be less concerned if it did not mean a companion does not get upgraded if the quest does not fire properly.

Well, what bothers me is the fact that I saved Amaranthine, had a fully upgraded Vigil's Keep, so Nathaniel survives... BUT DA2 does not register that and I do not get his quest, getting Fool's Gold instead.

What gives?

Connor Was Freed
Mages Recruit into the army
Dalish Elves were Recruited into the Army
Harrowmont rules Orzammar
The Anvil of the void recovered
Loghain was killed
Alistair is king of Ferelden
The Warden Perform The Dark Ritual with Morrigan
Vigil's keep was saved from the dark spawn Assault
The Architect is alive
Warden's Keep Was Reclaimed
shale Was discovered
king Cailan's corpse was burned

I assume That The Other Expansions Golems->Witch Hunt dont import to dragon age 2 there for dont really count.
I got Alistair married to anora and it doesn't come up as alistair married to anora and now king of fereldon.

If you saved Amaranthine but left Nathaniel at Keep, which then gets destroyed in Awakenings, then maybe it counts him as having died, in which case it wouldn't constitute a bug.
