I haven't played it yet and while I am concerned about some aspects of gameplay, by far my biggest concern is;

1. Missing auto attack on consoles.

OK: Here is the story.

Auto-attack option for consoles was added in to the games late in the development cycle after the initial certification build was sent. The auto-attack functionality was sent to be added to the game for testing and approval. This was why staff said it was in game.

Due to an error during mastering, the auto-attack file was omitted during manufacture.

We apologize for this. It was meant to be in game, but it is not currently in the console versions. We are working on how best to distribute this to console users. When we have information, we will let everyone know.

2. Flags and events not importing correctly or even DA2 flags corrupting during same playthrough.

We are investigating the issue, we did not see the topic right away since it was not in the tech support forums.

By chance were those of you having issues checking multiple saves before selecting a final one to import?

3. Freezing up while playing.

If those affected can provide some information about your systems, we can hopefully attempt to gauge the types of users being affected and track some of these issues down.

4. Solution to no Blood Dragon Armour in your promotions list if you own and have it already in ME2 or DAO:UE on PS3.

Contact EA either by phone or email or webchat on the EA site and ask them to add or flag / register on their system that you indeed own and have the armour in one of those games, once that is done it seems to have solved mine and alot of others with same issue. The EA site can be googles and just login and go to support for how to contact them.

Those are/were my biggest concerns.

As for preferences and opinions on gameplay thats specific to the player so I take no notice of those but my concerns do matter because it isn't supposed to happen and shouldn't be there.

If people could post in here any further updates on the issues that specifically the Devs can be quoted or have done regarding these issues please do so, do not post your opinions on who, what, why, when is to blame or whether or not like the game or hate it. This isn't a review topic about if you do or do not like the game.

If nothing else it shows they are attempting to resolve the issues and not ignoring us. This makes me happier as a customer.

That's good to hear. For a moment there, I thought the Devs were just gonna keep this matter hushed up.

Issues 1 and 2 seem to be the biggest issues - hopefully those get patched within the next week or two.

Issue 4 seems the smallest issue. It is unfortunate though, but I don't think it needs to be rushed unless it's a really easy fix.

I consider the third one to be even worse than one and two though, because freezes by reading how it gets with some stops them progressing completley not just information incorrect or play style. However I hope all of them get resolved soon and that we get a date for patching asap when they figure out what exactly has happened and happening.

I made this to show that they say they are trying to help though showing the thread links and some of the responses from them so far though the original threads contains more replies by the Devs and such if having any of the issues mentioned.

I've only encountered a couple of freezes so far. One was right in the prologue while meeting Aveline. After that I turned off the internet on the PS3. After hours of play I didn't have a single problem....

...until last night, when it froze again. I started it up and played again for a couple of hours and had no problems.

So there's definitely a freezing problem on the PS3. Hopefully they'll fix it soon. If people are having bad freezing, I suggest disconnecting your PS3 from the internet. It might be a problem with the way DA:2 uploads details of your gameplay back to EA/Bioware.

I guess that depends on the sevarity of the freezing.

I was simply imagining it as something that happens randomly every 6 hours or so. If it's something that happens consistently everytime the player tries to go to area X or some such, than yeah, then I might agree.

Wow, looks to me like they really rushed this game. Things like this don't encourage people to buy it. From what I've read so far, there seems to be a lot of unhappy customer feedback. I wonder if this is because of BW or EA?

That's my review on it so far anyway.

Hope you find this helpful!! :)
