Don't worry about 4chan, tez.  Its an imageboard generally regarded as "surly" at their best.  But, I've been to /v/.  They don't care.  They aren't mad.  They think its funny, actually, considering most of them just pirated the game in the first place.  The only people who are mad are the people who paid for it.  Us.

I know, it's not at all reasonable to just use 4chan as a scapegoat for poor user reviews. Sure there are quite a few trolls but there are some that aren't and honestly address the issues the game has.

0/10 reviews are not legitimate, serious reviews. The game would have to be actively attempting to destroy your life to give it a 0/10. At worst, even if you hated all of the changes from DA:O to DA2, it should still garner a 3/10. At the end of all this useless ranting crap, I say DA2 will get a 8 or so.

I like many others found hard to be a bit to easy at the start, so I changed the setting to nightmare, and I am having fun with it, It is a lot harder then the hard setting, and more of a challange, and the combat is very much tactical, I find myself pausing and setting things up all the time, specially since ff damage is active as well, so you have to avoid that as well.

4chan consits of over 40 boards with different topics and is most know for its 'random' section. Most boards are completely harmless and have no interest in 'raiding' various websites and certainly not down voting a game. Since the 'random' board does not give two ****s about bad video games, i can assure you that 4chan has nothing to do with this.

I was talking about 4chan as i understand it from what i read it is some proper geek club where they are all anonymous and share pretty pictures with eachother.

4chan isn't a secret internet organization that attacks whoever opposes them. The people from the whole imageboard are like me and you, but are more analytical and mature about certain subjects (well, most of them). These are people from all over the world, many of which share the view that freedom of speech is a good thing, even if they disagree with the opinions of some people.

However, the issue at hand here isn't that 4chan is bashing the game. The issue is that the game itself is of a very poor quality and clearly just a dumbed down DA:O with great leaps backwards. A sequel should have MORE than the original. It should be larger, more detailed, more powerful. Instead this THING the DA2 team have released is, in all honesty, a steaming pile of half assed ****.

Yeah, lock the thread out of fear for people spreading the voice of reason and sharing their opinions, Gaider, I'm sure that will make you feel better.

The only threads I've seen on 4chan about Dragon Age II are ones mocking DAII as your player rating falls. Although I have seen one DAII appreciation thread, but that didn't end well.

To add, there aren't exactly millions upon millions of people on 4chan (specifically, /v/ - where this is all supposedly coming from). These are people who have played the game.

There's nothing wrong with admitting that your favourite developer has released a sub-standard videogame for a company of their size, but you must acknowledge that regardless of your opinion, the game was not even close to what it should have been and to what many people were eagerly anticipating.
